About UsOur goal here at Spotted Gems is to raise and nurture beautiful, loving Bengal cats with great personalities. Our family has helped to raise all of our adult Bengals. My husband and I have been married since 1987. We have two sons and they both love cats, spending a lot of time with them. We have 8 cats in total, a 21 year-old female Himalayan "Alley" (Rest In Piece), a 5 year-old white female Calico "Milkshake", a 4 year-old male Tabby "Maui", and a 4 year-old female Tabby "Tippy". Along with our Bengals (Onyx, Opal, Topaz, Ruby, Emerabld, Titan, Jade, and Malachi), we have 2 Labradors that are 2 years old named Guenavere and Excalibur. All of our pets have been rescues other than the Bengals, which we carefully picked for their beautiful color, open Rosettes and other special facial features that make them look wilder looking. They are all loved and spoiled equally. The Bengals are raised under foot and get along very well with all of our other pets. Bengals seem to insist that everyone is their friend, animals and people alike. They are so very loving and gentle that they have some of the most interesting personalities. The more time you spend with them, the more you fall in love with them.
